Cylinder Repair & Overhaul

West Air Aircraft’s engine cylinder shop offers exceptional repair and overhaul services. Aircraft cylinder barrels are precision ground to high standards with our honing and boring machine while maintaining the required tapered choke for each cylinder. Valve seats are also precision ground so valves may be lapped into place. Once the cylinders are overhauled, the piston rings are then sized to fit the barrel.
